This is an adaptation of William Golding’s seminal dystopian novel. The new four-part project by Jack Thorne ("His Dark Materials," "Help," "Enola Holmes") tells the story of a group of English schoolboys who find themselves stranded on a deserted island. Left to their own devices, the children initially attempt to manage their dire situation civilly, until tribal divisions emerge and a brutal power struggle ensues.
