One day, she meets a mysterious and incredibly charming man, played by Sebastian Stan, and quickly becomes infatuated with him. There’s just one problem: he’s actually a psychopath who eats human flesh and sells the meat of his victims. But he clearly underestimates his new captive. She is ready to fight for herself and strike back. “Fresh” became a hit at the Sundance Film Festival, but the general audience still knows this film far less than it deserves. And it’s a shame: even after several years, it hasn’t lost its sharpness or its ability to truly impress.
